Having been introduced to camping trailers , just a short time ago (7 years now ) ... We made a wooden TD , which was successful , but required constant vigilance to prevent the dreaded Rot . (Not to mention it was 5 times the price of the foamie and 3+ times as Heavy :o ) We bought a steel cargo trailer , which was Nice , just too small ... Bought an RV trailer next .... somebody should have warned us about that  ... what an Expensive disaster that was :frightened:  ... then we made our first Foamie , which was also Too Small , but required NO maintenance , was Light and very Inexpensive 8) ... so we’re slowly working up to something usable ... Learning all the way ....
Now if someone had already done this and presented a simple foam box trailer with instructions , I most certainly would have done that First ... saving a Lot of time and Coin .... and an awful lot of typing ...

Here's a fiberglass 'slouchy' style TTT that I recently came across on a
South African auction site. 'Looks to be about a 5Wx10Lx5H body. It has
flat/slightly-curved panels and is narrow enough to fit within the
cross-sectional area of a tow vehicle. The edges/panel-joins are 'radiused'.
There is an attempt at a Kamm-back in the rear. It could be easily
'emulated' as a basic Foamie in flat panels. It could be set up as just
a camper or as a small toy-hauler/camper.

Me too on a new career thats why I said Glen.
another reason is I've never built a teardrop be it wood or foam.

I still get "what? foam?" looks when I mention what some
of you good folks on here have built; trailers, boats, cooler boxes all from foam.

New ideas always seem to meet with some skepticism ... Global Warming , Obamacare, Foamie trailers ... :o
