Thanks for all the advice !!! I’m “better" now with the idea of parting with it ... But before I offer it , we’ll have to spend a day doing some Touch up ... replace that nasty window hinge (have a good one waiting) ... Then paint that PINK trailer ... (maybe a new paint job on the cabin too ?) Then it will be ready ... I was going to get some more of those clearance cushions at Wal mart (like on the FS) but then somebody else may not like or need them ...
The plan is to ask what I have in it (650USD) ... no need to profit , since we learned so much with this one .. The education was the real benefit ... :D

Then I’ll be down to only 4 trailers ...

Good news , there’s a band drooling over the All Steel cargo trailer too for hauling their musical eqpt. ... The only 3 trailers left ... The FS, the boat , and the extra empty boat trailer to build the Zephyr on ... 8)

Sounds like a plan! I think someone will be very happy with that 650$ purchase!

I just read this whole thread and laughed so hard it actually made me wheeze. You guys are a riot. Thanks for starting my Saturday morning off with a great laugh, even if it was at the expense of your buttons and junk caches.

Nah.... it's just stuff. Remember, "the most important things in life are not things." You'll be fine. There will always be another trailer. Hopefully the wife is a keeper. Unless, that is, she happens to see that sister of the devil comment.

for me, every toy has a price, some are ridiculous enough to not worry about them leaving home, but for the right offer...

After 40 years , I’m considering keeping her permanently ... despite the heritage ... Actually she is quite understanding about “some" things... usually after a long explanation , and many months of doubt... When it finally happens , she’s convinced !!! Sorta’ ... :NC

No real loss for “material things”, I could care less and would be happy to see it find a good home (wife too :R ) ...It’s just the “emotional” attachment ... My first Foamie’ and all ...
This was a turning point in my life , when people started thinking ...”Well, he may not be Crazy after all ? “ .... :D (a fact yet to be determined completely)

Lol I understand completely. I think I only know one adult I know doesn't think that building the trailer is crazy. I'm sure many of you guys have heard "Why don't you just get a tent? Why don't you just buy an RV?" They seem like such ridiculous questions to me!

Slept in the same old BS (that’s boy scout tent, though never was, just inherited it) Pup tent for many “expeditions” ... too old for that now .. Bought an RV , too much , too free Ken expensive to maintain $> .. Like Goldilocks said ... Foamies are “just right” !!! ... 8) :D

Ps. the wife still thinks I’m crazy to some degree , but has come to more or less accept that over the years , that and I can COOK too , her shadow never has to darken the kitchen.. (still good for something)

WE ARE married to sisters. My wife only enters the kitchen to fill her 32 oz. coffee cup. I do all the cooking. When we remodeled the kitchen she did not care what I did as long as she could reach the microwave. (To reheat her coffee if need be) When I said I was going to build a teardrop, she said, "that's nice, but I will not camp in it" , and she hasn't. So it's me and the dog. Really hard to say who came out the best in that one!

Karen,

When I did it not too long ago it was about 19hrs of driving each way. So probably 2 days down and two days back if you don't have another driver.
As for the husband, I cannot predict that one.
