Lots of work went into prepping this paint job... sanding , cleaning with a cleaning fluid, vacuuming to remove dust , then prime and paint , I’m sure it will last a while ... if you park it inside , probably a Loooooong time ... We used the same kind/brand/type of paint on the house when I built it 15 years ago ... only last fall did we finally have to do a repaint , just because it was getting a little dull ... er, this paint was rather a mite Pricy ... :frightened:

All done now save for a few little details to be attended to when it’s dry ... :D 8) :dancing

Funny , it looked short and stubby with the Camo paint , now it looks long and lean ... :o

Have to dry it carefully as we found it takes a good week for Latex paint to really harden up ...Pulled it in the Studio again to protect the fresh paint from the yardman .. :frightened:

You're right about the look and I'm sure as an artist you're familiar with tricking the viewers eye. We had the same thing happen to our house. It kinda looked too tall for it's width but once we put up a rock wainscoting, it looks perfect dimensionally

Mary, I think it’s one of those Yuppie Disneyland colors ... Closest on the chart to what I wanted ... lighter than the original house trim color which is a little darker, more green . I thought it was a Happy color ... :D

Got the inside cleaned out ... found a dead tree frog .. So we’ll just draw a chalkline on the floor around the deceased... figured it must have snuck in when I opened the door and the trailer being tightly sealed , couldn’t get out ... Sad !!! :(
A little vacuuming and we’re ready to go ... :D

Well then , out cleaning the trailer frame this morning found out the HF powder coating isn’t that bad at all ... Pretty Tough in fact ! The latex that got accidentally splashed on it came right off just with a little rubbing , and Lacquer thinner on a rag cleaned the Gripper off the fenders ... Pretty CLean now ... :D 8)

It does fade (the color ) but cleans up pretty well ... The more you rub, the better it looks ... Good cleaner wax wouldn’t hurt either... but that’s a little obsessive behavior for a trailer frame eh ? ... :o
