Ok, now I am going to tell the way I did mine It was hot when I glued on my canvas so i used a 50 /50 mixture just so th canvas was wet and I could get th canvas on. Once or twice I had to add a little more glue. Some places I put the glue on the foam and on the canvas The temperature and how fast I could work with the glue and smooth out the pieces of canvas dictated how much i used. I used a 3by5 plastic the bakerys use to spread icing, wipe down bowls. When the canvas was dried on the foam, I used Glidden gripper. This paint is very thick. I found that my prettiest, smoothest areas were the areas where I put on a very thick coat without trying for coverage that we are used to doing with regular latex paint. You want it thick and heavy really work it into the fibers and letting it rest on top to dry. I used a palm sandeer and put on another coat of gripper. I then used a good exterior Latex, I am very satisified.
