I can't rush this. It has to last. Plus, I suddenly realized it might not fit out the garage door, if I'm not careful. I am going to try and get a least one side glued up this week. Plus, I need to get the cooler cleaned out and supplies bought. I picked up a camp stove I haven't tried yet. Lots to do, while glue dries. I will bring the bed and the foam cushions from BUB. There's a cooler port in the side of my tent. I'm thinking it will suffice to put my little AC through. While it won't be perfect, it should help with sleeping at night.

If I didn't have a major audit at work starting next week, I could probably have the shell done, but life does get in the way. I am so excited about going to CRA and meeting everyone. I've got to find my camera charger and extra battery. I want to document everyone's great ideas.

Bonnie , I too am so excited and want to go no matter what! I don't think I will get finished but I have till Friday the glue has to dry or my TD wont go!!! it is suppose to RAIN every day if not all day, then late afternoon showers. The problem we have is everything is so soaked it has not dried out anything but for life in general I am not that upset because we could be in a drought. Good luck, maybe it will happen. I have been offered a loan of two different TDs. I may just take them up on that.

Well, it took the government shutdown to do it, but I've made some progress. I am almost done with the storage shelves. They are metal frames and wood shelves. Actually those little end tables for dorm rooms. I caught them on clearance and bought several. I used VHB tape and built the standards. They will have shelves and be anchored to the floor. I painted them a umber color. So, without further ado,

You take wall art and paint them another color. I also had to cut them down a bit.



Much better, yes?

Then you take VHB tape:



And mix it with the metal uprights from the little end tables, like so:



Apply a bit of pressure and heat. I used my hair dryer on high.

One by one the end table parts are built into the planned heights and painted umber. The wall panels are applied with double stick tape, not VHB.

And tada --- divider shelves.



They are 17.5 long, 15.5 wide and 60" high. They weigh about 10 pounds, I would imagine. I should have them finished up soon. The wood parts are grey and I think for the moment, I'm going to leave them that color. The wall art is plastic, btw, so it won't rot.

I'm really horrible at spray painting so don't look too close!

Next up, is the walls. The carpet on the wall behind that last shot is what's going inside the trailer. It's super light weight and I think it will work well with my color scheme.

Hey Lady I have been worried about you, havent heard a smidgen of anything here on the forum from you. I was going to send out a pigeon here pretty soon. Glad to hear you are getting some work done. while away from work, are you gonna make it?
glad you are making some progress. Missed you!!! The shelves look great and don't worry It doesn't have to be perfect.

I'm posting some and it's been slow, slow going on the build, but it will get done. I have a camping date with my granddaughter next spring. I thought the panels were fun. Girly. Very me. Thanks for the comments. I'm having fun.
