According to the GG website, I think they said it also comes in 36 oz size. You could stick a lot of stuff together with that 8) 8)

solution to the gg issues. parchment paper! i always stick that on top, or under and it just peels off. i would think wax paper might work also, but i only have parchment paper. the parchment paper is also good for using like a palette. i use it when i poly the fabric to stick onto the foam.

Wax paper works with TBII. Haven't tried it with GG yet. Will post, if I do.

Parchment paper...add that to the list of things to buy at the store today! I'll be ready to glue the kerf cuts of my roof together and wanted to use the walls to get the right shape, but not ready to have it bond to the walls just yet. So glad you posted that!

and don't forget, it has kitchen/baking qualities, its a multi-tasker

this is the before pic, just a bunk bed

this is the after, so far, just a wall. i ran out of fabric, so could not finish up.
Image

now i am not sure how i am going to finish off the top part of that wall. i laid inside the shell today to just contemplate this. i might add a mesh and removeable plexy, but i am not sure yet.

now i found a big problem while working. my hinge was rusted out and coming apart. more than 1/2 the screws were rusted and not even there.
Image

so i painted the outside black (its all i had) and put in new hinges for now. you can see the supervisor keeping watch.
Image

and this is what it looks like on the inside. that corner piece is a piece of real strong cardboard hubby had out in the shed. we are going to add that to the corners(i think). anyway, still working on this foamie.

A veritable Patchwork Paradise .... 8) Maybe you should consider using a stainless hinge and matching screws too ... Those plated hinges aren’t really very good for our application ...

I've used both waxed paper and plastic coated freezer paper (butchers paper?) with TB2. You do have to be careful not to let the paper gather up and get pinched in between the joints when you go to clamp them together, and they can both get a little soft, tear easily, when soaked, but they do a good job of keeping the mess contained.

TB2, is it paintable? Trying to figure out the best way to fill the weave of my canvas and I'm having a hard time locating the posts I saw on that topic. Would the TB2 be good for that, or is there something else I should be looking at? Was thinking spackle, but was afraid it would be too inflexible once dried. Thoughts?

She did use the lagging compound and then painted over that. I think though depending where you live lagging compound might be a PITA to get your hands on. I looked at it for a while and I either had to order it online and pay for shipping    or drive 2 1/2 hours to buy it "retail". :NC :NC :NC You can't argue with her results...
