OMG that is so sad. To reopen after Katrina and then suffer a total loss. It looks like they are hoping to rebuild yet again. Glad I at least got a chance to try one pie. :worship: For those who, once again, find themselves without a job due to disaster. It seems some just can't catch a break.

Very sad indeed ... Good thing nobody was hurt ...
I hope their insurance company doesn’t find some way to Not Pay up , like they did everybody else after Katrina...  We all found out how much we could Not depend on insurance to save us ... We pay , they don’t ... Technicalities ... More of the Evil capitalist empire .. :frightened:

Hopefully, their insurance will pay and Hubigs will reopen. :worship:

Here are a couple of pictures of what's gotten done in the last couple weeks.
Both walls are cut out and the curbside wall is mostly framed

Not much to report this week. Man, it is hot here!!! Here are a couple pictures.
The window frames are built.
Image
and the door frame is built and the door has been cut out. I'm going to live dangerously and build the door after the walls are up! :) Fortunately, I have a friend who is a carpenter, from out of town who has been working in the city and crashing at my place so I at least have someone to consult with. :) He seems quite entertained with my project.
Image Sorry the picture is blurry, it was almost dark when I took it.

Hope everyone had a good week!
