I used gripper to adhere the canvas cloth to the corner caps of the Road Foamie. I was amazed by it's holding power. It was even hard to wash off of skin. Just about scrubbed my forearms raw trying to get that stuff off!!! I only used a couple yards of canvas since everything else is covered in fiberglass, but I am quite pleased with the result.

Great information in this thread . I wasn't expecting to find out how to bend foam . That is so helpful for me . The same for the information about the Glidden Gripper . Interesting question comes when decideing if you want to use it ...about $24 Gripper or the $18 Titebond per gallon .

The Gripper looks very Good ... I got a gallon to use on the Foamstream and on the house balcony , which so far has resisted paint (pealing) , so another major test for the Gripper ...
I also introduced it to the RC Foamies forum as a way of laminating 1/4” Blu-foam sheets together ... a process previously left to those expensive Hobby glues , which don’t seem to work as well ...
Oh , it cures rather then drys out ? Sounds like great stuff . A friend of mine has a gallon of free paint for me I wonder if " whatever brand " will work for me ? Test , test , test , I guess . Can't insult a friend by turning him down .

Good call W2 , yet another "test” ... technically , used as an adhesive , it should easily work thinned 50/50 with water ... only testing will confirm ...
If you get the new "reformulated" Gripper, isn't it pre-thinned from the factory? I thought I heard that they were reducing the silods in the paint somewhere.
