Weather broke. I'm back at it. :) Seems heat and frustration go together. While I'm waiting for the opportunity to go get BUB. I am working out other details. I have a lift design posted in my build thread. I'm also working out the back wall fix, so I can use the Hobbit Door -- too much work and coolness to set it aside. As I get time and temps allow I'm trying to do the parts of the build I can accomplish. Too hot to try fiberglassing anything right now. Whew!

too hot out there to do anything, and of course lack of money and time. its so busy around here with kids out of school, trying to keep the garden alive, and try to jump in the pool to enjoy that. all of that and now i have added a female collie to the mix. :D her name is nala. so right now i have my hands full. well i took my break and now must get to the kitchen and start cleaning that up.

pooooh on the heat. I'm 49 not a fitness buff at all and constantly build from 90s to 105 and survived. Sweating is good for you. Just remember to hydrate and just use a steady pace. Lowes is a nice cool break!

Amen brother!

I have been buying cases of liter bottled water and keeping them at Mecca. They're not cold, but they are wet. Funny thing, the last case I bought sat in my car during the day with the windows just cracked. When I got to Karl's and broke them out they were more than warm. Laid one down on the steel work bench and it sucked the heat right out of it in no time.

Noticed that others (Karl and/or Kris) have been going to the well, as well, helping themselves, so that is a good thing. Least I can do to contribute to the shop.

Before that I had seen lots of soda bottles around. Not good; caffeine dehydrates.

FWIW.

That is cool!!! Simple hinge design. A bit of a different way to get floor space. Maybe easier to build than a slide out

Yeah. I was rightly smitten with its "coolness." And it is simplicity personified. I suspect duplicating one would require a goodly bit of repetitive construction and some clever engineering; yet doable. Interesting concept...

What about as an awning/screen room? Wonder if that could be worked up, somehow? Hmmmm. Wait I can't get sidetracked, I'm still working on the lift for BUB.
