Well that stinks! We have earthquakes out here and they're no fun but at least they don't happen very frequently. Hurricanes happen too frequently for my tastes!! Glad you made it through.

What a Nasty little storm .... just wouldn’t go away ... the effect of the slow movement was more like Erosion , gradually doing more and more damage as it hung around ... The new levee system did protect the city , but the water had to go somewhere and flooded everybody else ...
Now if I may take a second to gloat , my overly Strong house design/construction techniques survived what would have flattened most constructions ... The neighbors called it the Bunker when I was building it ... But it survived .... If we apply the same techniques to Foamies , they should last a long time ...

Ps. The Foamie did fine .... inside the Studio ...

...and now ... Bear proof trailers .... If there was any candidate for building a Bear proof trailer , I’d have to consider steel R panel .... Recent patch of bad weather proved its toughness up against an estimated 30,000lb. tree... I really don’t think a bear could get through this stuff... Bit Heavy though ... just crumbs for thought ...

only problem with that is the Bear has paws and claws that they can move to manipulate to get inside where the tree is sudden impact a bear can find the smallest of holes and then peel it like a banana to get you inside but I'd still like to see it be done We have big bears up here...GPW to making it safe and in one piece

Droid , I’m afraid you’re right , Bears are Smart and have claws... trees are just Dumb and Heavy ...
