I cut out the door with the jig saw and it worked great. I then cut the wood for the outside of the door and glued and screwed it and now has weights on it. while the glue dries.
There is an old saying about working smarter not harder and you did that. When I did my doors, I made the door after I set the wall to the frame. What a pain in the neck it was to try and make that door fit just right... It still rubs when I close it but I'm living with it for now
I am doing a little at a time.
