My friend and I like working with foam as a medium for building Vacation Bible School sets. This is one of his latest creations.

We also had a working drawbridge with real water in the moat.

To my certain knowledge , Not the first time foam has been used for "theatrical sets" ... You can have some real Fun with that !!!

from what I can tell, it's probably the most common use for foam next to it's intended purpose...
