having survived little talbot, we went to st. augustine for 2 days, then down a1a to ormond beach and across to wekiva springs... where we will kayak today.. then osprey, manatee springs up to gulport, ms, and work our way back to new england over the following week.

we finally got some really nice weather, in the 70s, with sun.... little talbot was the driving force to get us out of the snow.. once we had reservations for l/t, we put the rest together..... we may make this an annual break from the snow (THERE was an 18 inch snow storm while we were down here)....

off to the springs... maybe a swim, but 72 degree water is a bit cool for me.... good to see you all.

Good pictureas and good news. Got me a new budy at the pound yesterday to replace my old Lab. 34 LB Border Collie/Terrier mix. 14 months old and good rider , quiet with good manners. Now I can leave Wanda at home more often.

The pics of the pig got me in the mind of Weekend At Bernie's or was it that week or so after Arafat's death or was it Lenin pickeled in his tomb?

Looks like a good time was had. Wish I had been there.

Could any one explain the pics of the (kayak?)trailer behind the Element? Interesting suspension set up.

The kayak trailer was neat. Rear motorcycle type suspension but max load wa only about three hundred pounds. Don't remember the manufacturer. The man said there was another brand that had, he thought about a six hundred pound capacity. A little white water net surfing would propably find it.
