Got the inside side walls carpeted. Cut out two pieces of wood to use as props for my pop top. Ran out of screws for the carpeting so I'm stuck until I get more as I now need to finish carpeting the props and insides of the back doors before attaching the brackets for the props and inside latches for the doors. Tomorrow is another day they say lol.

Oh I just praying and praying any suggestions here will help. I know it is simple but since I have lost a lot of strength in my arms and hands, ( broke both wrists) I am just :NC I hope I can do it.....................going back to work.

Well I got the pop top side pieces carpeted and installed :) While working on the side pieces the wind picked up and was blowing my back doors all over the place wildly which bent the hinges :frightened: So off came the doors and thicker hinges installed and then a couple small lengths of chain to stop the doors from swinging out too far  Once the new hinges were on I had to trim the doors so they would again close properly which then allowed for a simple install of the interior door latches ;) Worked till dark so pictures will have to wait till morning :pictures:

I'm starting to think I just might make my April 1st deadline for the first trip out in her :worship:

Wow Kelly
You are making Steve and I look like a couple of slackers!
But, your enthusiastic approach has me reinspired to get Miss Piggy ready for April!
Have you given any thought as to where you might be taking your teardrop for its maiden voyage?

Probably the Princeton area to visit my parents for a night then???? Possibly an overnight-er in the Okanagan somewhere? I hear Westbank is nice.

Got right where I wanted to today.

ImageImage

Deck laid and insulated, floor and side Rug in, ceiling panel built/rugged and even installed.

Got a lot of catch up work for tomorrow, wiring, trailer, interior lights & fan, install the "A" hitch head and Jack and a small piece of the ceiling in the front.

Happy Trails

got the bearings and the other wheel parts washed out and the old stuff out and greased it all up now ready for assembly tomorrow if it is warm enough in the back room. I have the trailer in parts so I can lift them and take them to the outside to just assemble together and superhunkiedick it will be together. since the The front is put together but not bolted to the first square, the first square is put together with the spring but not bolted to the last square witch is bolted up, then put on the axle and wheels and flip it over. TA DA at least that is my plan but it is suppose to throw white or frozen stuff tonight so I will wait till it gets up to sixty degrees to move the pieces outside. May be day after tomorrow but I am ready..... :)

Got the outside sheathed, insulated and wired for inside 12V.

Started some work on the hatch area.

And set up the "A" frame hitch.

Tomorrow I just have to take a step back and think of everything I have to do before the Aluminum skin goes on...Sunday.

Happy Trails

I have to wait for the weather to warm up a little and I will take the parts outside to be bolted together! I didn't get anything done today but have plans tomorrow after a trip to the flea market. Mike got my avatar on for me since I was having trouble. Thanks again !!!! That is Spot my 34 year old horse. He is a sweet heart!!!

If you would like to come up to Westbank for a visit......we have lots of room here at the farm for you to camp!
We could have a night around the fire pit and enjoy a glass of wine or two. :wine:
Hopefully it will be on a weekend we can be home (crazy dance card for this year)...mid week works for us too!
Just let us know when you plan to come.

Not much visible word done recently.

I painted the frame.

Image

And sheathed the sides of the galley.

Image

A lot of "Gettin Ready" for other stuff goin on.

Laid out the doors, made the templet for the hatch, worked on the hatch hinge, fixed a couple of Boo-Boo's, reset some screws that didn't want to cooperate.......

Going to try and finish up all the dirty work tomorrow so I can clean this joint up...the hatch and the doors, all the work on the saw etc.

then its on to Aluminum and Brake work.

The moldings are coming in Wed, I have the roof and I hope to have it weatherized by the weekend.

Happy Trails
