Religious Greeting Follows Here

Postby Dee Bee » Sat Apr 08, 2006 9:20 am

I know that this is not a religious forum, so I hope that this is not taken as an misuse of this wonderful site... If you don't want to read anything of a religious/faith/spiritual nature then click to another message now.

I know that there are some friends here who share my faith and who enjoyed this when I posted it before.:

Since I am a man of the cloth (United Meth.), I want to offer a simple blessing for all who would receive it.

My idea comes from the practise of some shipping fleets that bless the boats before they start to sea. So why not a blessing for all the Tiny Trailers? This week seems like an appropriate time. As we soon set out to enjoy the Creator and the creation.

Creator of all things good and wondrous, bless this Teardrop and those who travel in your great creation. Watch over this tiny home. May your traveling mercies surround this Teardrop with safety. May laughter and good will accompany us as we camp. On the road we travel, may we find many friends and acts of kindness. Grant that your peace would abide in our hearts always. Amen.

Have a blessed Holy Week, a Joyous Sunday on Easter & a wonderful, safe camping season with friends and family.

Thanks, Dee. Sincerely appreciated. :worship:  I've copied it, with your permission, I hope, and am going to take it to a friend who does calligraphy. I want to hang that in my trailer! Thanks again. :applause:

The tension between what is good enough and what is beyond that creates the space for character to become our work.

Thanks for the positive responses...

Permission is not needed, but thanks for asking. Please use the prayer freely anyway you want and may the blessings abound for all.

I also thank you Dee, and like Chris, I plan to have that prayer hangning in my tear when the time comes that we get her on the road.

Your thought is superb

Postby Guy » Sat Apr 08, 2006 8:57 pm

Dear Dee,

The thoughts for this Passover/Easter season were a gift and pure punctuation on my day. I have been with Len, Donna, their family and Jack. It was an incredibly spiritual day, watching the profile and structure of teardrops4vets rise up.
Regards,
