Cargo mate screws driving me nuts!!!

Postby kkayv » Fri Mar 22, 2013 9:48 pm

Hi. I am taking down the walls in my new Cargomate blazer trailer. Problem is they used some crazy screw that I can't seem to find a bit that fits. It is four sided but slightly rounded. Help!

You should be able to find the bits at any of the big box hardware i.e. Lohe's, Home Depot, Menards in various sizes.

I thought Cargomates screws are an unusual 8 point ? http://hickorytrailerparts.com/catalog/ ... 30177640d2
But you guys are right, I think any nr.2 Robertson bit will work.

Thx guys. I finally found one that fit. Realized that the screws they used are just really crap and therefore hard to get out. I'm gonna drive em in and move on to primer and paint! Got my paints today and filled with wood spackle.
