I was, but it has moved out of my price range. Just like the last 15 or so. They are coming down, though. Haven't seen on go over $100 for a while now. I know one I was bidding on found a home up in Canada.

I wouldn't pay much for one missing the original handles. Nicer handles could be made tho.

My hope was that the handles would keep the price down, but no such luck. One sold with no handles at all a few months ago. I think it still went around $70. I didn't get that one either.

It's been discussed a few times. I wish someone would. I don't have either the money or the business acumen to do it.

It's just too much money, unless someone really wants to make a business out of it and has the capital to buy a major run of them. I do have a new one that was cast from iron from a pattern maker friend of mine. I cleaned it up, hinged it and have cooked in it. Thing is...it's not food grade aluminum, it's cast iron. It's way heavy! Doug

I remember when I was discussing this with Earmquart(?) in the campfire post. Guess I gotta start tromping the fleas again to find one at a reasonable price.

The IWDA (International Waffle Dog Association) rules clearly states that person or persons collecting, hording or otherwise making it difficult for campers who clearly and definitely deserve a Hot Diggity will be barred from being patched in. Furthermore said person or persons shall, if caught with multiple Hot diggities, be subject to feed mass campers from said irons at no cost to the suffering masses.

Its actually a pretty big risk to have more than one. Just sayin.

Stop playin with my emotions

Hear, hear!
I'm just happy to see that my proposed name change went through, and the International aspect of Waffle Dogging has been recognized.
Give a person a fish and you feed them for a day; teach a person to use the Internet and they won't bother you for weeks.
