Hey Kirk - Can you share the source of that red globe or the name of someone who stains them. I've been looking for something in either amber or red for my old 200A and that one looks really sharp. Thanks for any help. Bill (kookenotes)

I dont see where the asbestos would be, its just steel and paint. It does not matter anyway I always likes a little asbestos sprinkle on my apple pie. Oh no, "cough, cough, cough." Sorry its that dang Mesothelioma again.

Thanks Jeremy - That's a web site that I definitely needed to know about. The red globe is kind of pricey but it sure dresses up the lantern. I guess I'll have to do it. I'm new to teardrops but an old timer with my Coleman gear. I'm just building the tear to have some place to put the Coleman stuff. :)

Well the Globe in question was done by Darren Bentz. A member of this forum. I've camped with him once when I saw the etching he has done I just had to get one for myself. I got a Jack O' Lantern globe from him. Here is his website http://www.victorygraphix.com/ The next thing I'm going to have him etch is panes from a couple of Mil Spec lanterns with the Marine Corp Emblem.

I just had a super weak moment on ebay. I bid on a lantern.

Normally I dont hang out in bars or bid on lanterns on ebay. Sometimes you just need to. I did not win.

I just need a 222 soooo bad. I only have one. They are very rare in the wild. And I just ordered some colored glass for them (plural). I need it to be them and not it. I wish there was a casino that had Coleman stuff as prizes. Baby needs a new 222!
