I die for gold bonds but I am not going to pay for it on ebay. I will have to stumble on one in the wild. That is not going to be an easy task. As some of you may have noticed I kind of seek out Coleman stuff. Truth be told I am a Coleman hound. That being said I have put in a few hours hunting Coleman over the last two years and I a have come across only one Gold Bond in the wild. It was a super rusty, full of water stove. Bent and rusty and not worth the metal it was stamped out of. Gold Bond stuff is cool, but its a myth.

Ok so I have these two lanterns. The one on the left is going to get the CHOP! Sorry but it must be done. I chopped two 200a's today. It kills me to chop a lantern but if its not going to burn then its just parts to me. The one on the right is a very nice burner. Its all there and has a safe and stuff but its not a Christmas. Its a franky. It has a vent from a 63 - 5120 profane lantern. Is this the correct look for an original Christmas lantern? If it is than I am going to leave it the way you see it.

Hey, what's with the little itty bitty red plastic bottles of Coleman fuel?

I went to the hardware store to get a couple more gallons of fuel and the clerk said that's how it comes now. Couldn't have been any bigger than a quart and they wanted $7 each. No thanks! (Conn. has fairly high tax on automotive fuel, but that is out of hand. I paid $14 - $16 for the last two cans I bought and thought that was a lot to pay for a gallon.)

Please tell me that they will still be distributing the metal gallon cans.

If that is true I am going to buy a bunch of fuel.

Ok guys need an opinion, I found a guy who is selling his collection of colemans. The 2 he has I like the best is a 74 200A and a 39 220b
104094
curious as to what you all think about it. He wants $50 for both and they do burn, too much for the 200a but not sure on the 220b! Rest of the collection is all 70's and he wants $20 a piece for them. He has a total of 15 lanterns, 7 stoves and 1 oven which he said he would take $400 for it all.

Cliff
In God we trust, shoot the rest and he will sort out!
