New but old Teardrop owner from the Jersey Shore

Postby jerhill » Wed Apr 03, 2013 10:53 am

I am looking to share experiences and ideas with all of you. I have a 2+ year old home built that I acquired little over a year ago. Lots of experience camping, 10+ years with the Boy Scouts, 20+ in the military. Going to the Boy Scout National Jamboree in July as staff member in West Virginia. Big fan of the state and national parks, don't camp much in private camps. Love photography so I head for those scenic vistas. :pictures: Looking forward to seeing all of your interesting posts.

Welcome aboard Jerry.

You're in good company. Those East coaster sure love their Teardrops. 10 + in the Boy scouts for me
( just as a scout ) and 20 + in the Military as well. Enjoy your stay. Check the gathering info for your
appropriate area and come join some gatherings.

Dan,

Thanks for the shout out. I notice that you are from Ontario. Here at the Jersey shore we have many visitors from your area. A lot of them bring trailers but I have seen any with Teardrops. Is the Teardrops becoming popular now or do you think that I have just probably missed seeing them. Just an observation.

Thanks again, Jerry H.

Hi Jerry, I have been to Long Beach Island years ago but not with a trailer. We stayed at a friends cottage. I believe the teardrop has been and is taking off as time goes on.
Cheers
Dan

I originally had planned to take the TD but I have had to cut back my travel plans and it just doesn't make good sense to take it without getting some use, plus the added expenses. As a volunteer I'll be at the Jamboree from the 7th until the 18th.
