Hello,
My name is John and I have been working on my teardrop trailer off and on since last March and am now in the finishing stages. There are some pictures in my album of the trailer so far so you can see how it is going. I know how everyone likes pictures (including me) so I wanted to wait until I had some before I made my introduction.
Now about the trailer. I lurked on here for about a year before I joined and then began planning and building the trailer. If you see anything that looks similar to your trailer, odds are I stole the idea from your pictures.

The camper box is 5' x 9' x 4' tall on a 5' x 8' 4" trailer that I picked up off of craigslist. If I build a second trailer, I think I will use the welded frame trailer (angle iron with no side rails) from Northern Tool that they have on sale for less the 400 from time to time. I put a little more than that in the trailer I have after buying and rebuilding it. The walls are 1/4" ply sandwich over 3/4" framing and foam insulation for a total width of 1 1/4". The floor is 1/2" ply on 1 1/2" x 1 1/2" framing bolted to the frame. The floor framing is a little overkill but I wanted the depth for my in floor storage. The ceiling and outer roof skin is 1/8" baltic birch that came in 5' x 5' panels over 1 1/2" x 1 1/2" framing. Again this is overkill, but I wanted the extra insulation in the roof. The front was going to have cabinets for storage but once I sat in the camper when the inside was skinned, I decided to leave the curved front as is. I may still add the cabinets later but I figured that if the wall was square, I would need extra pillows for reading and then they woud take up half of the storage when we were sleeping. I may add a shelf above our heads for books, glasses, phones, etc. but I will see how it goes on the first few camping trips.
So far I am pretty pleased with the build and hope that I like camping in it. The only major hurdle that I see left is getting a plate for the trailer so I can take it out of state. I don't believe that this will be a problem but I am nervous about it since I already reserved my spot at Crossroads of America in the summer and I would hate to miss it. That said, I hope to see some of you there.
