Coleman Keepers Campfire come on in!

Lanterns, stoves, etc... anything old!

Cliff, those 2 lanterns look real nice. I do not know what things like this go for in your area but since you know they burn it seems like a fair price to me. If they did not burn and you may need a generator or other parts I might shy away, or at least try for a lower price.

Thanks Steve, yeah I'm going to try and meet them tomorrow evening if I can and see what I can come up with ! KC and Kurt they are still selling metal cans just at some retailers they have made the smaller plastic bottle so it takes less shelf space and most people are not nuts like us and camp or burn as much as we do! I picked a few more cans a couple of weeks ago at the outlet store when they had their 40% off sale. Never can have enough fuel on hand!

Cliff
In God we trust, shoot the rest and he will sort out!

Thanks Cliff. I figured it was something like that. Small mom & pop store, mostly just the types of things that you don't want to have to go to the big box store for.

I'll go by the garden center where I got my first can from; they had the best price so far anyway.

Due to the high cost of CF, I am phasing out and going back to Kerosene ( actually Jet A) I am modding a couple of 200A to use jet fuel, also I am using a couple of Euro lanterns with Jet fuel as we speak, cheaper, cleaner. ( 6 dollars a gallon)

I get it now! Thanks for the links. Those are some pretty slick picnic table lanterns, if I only had dozens of junky lanterns to salvage parts from, I just might build one of these.

Trouble is I'm at the one-zee-two-zee stage and they are both runners. If I ever find a 200A, I think I will want it to be a runner, too.

Hey, everyone has to start somewhere, right?

I would like to know the specs on that tap, is it a 27 teeth 1/8" NPT?.... I am doing something similar with a 200A frame and valve on a 288 fount....
