Teardrop Trailer Kits for Sale

Hey TNTTers,

This is a Sale notice for our new business. We (The Teardroppers) sell CNCed Teardrop Trailer Kits.

Our Teardrop Trailer Kit was designed to take the most difficult parts of building a Teardrop Trailer and make them as easy for you as possible. Your kit will include two sidewalls cut from hand selected prefinished 3/4" birch wood. The sidewalls have precut indents for the cross support bars, interior roof channels, kitchen walls and doors. The door cutouts have been cut to accommodate premade doors, which can be purchased on EBay. If you choose to make your own doors the woodcut outs will also be provided.

The Kit also includes an 8 piece EZ Assemble Hatch Kit. The Hatch consists of 8 interlocking pieces, which take all the guesswork out of designing a durable and strong hatch.

All of our kits are made to fit on a standard 5ft x 8ft trailer.

Wow !!! What a great idea and a solid looking kit. Unfortunately I am some ways past the stage on my current build to use your product this time but for sure you are on my radar for my next tear. lee

While I'm sure one could do it themselves for less, the work that the hatch part of the kit saves probably makes up for the difference in the cost. Assuming you're looking to build that design, anyway.

It's amazing what can be done with CAD driven machinery these days.

Would be nice if they had kits for frames other than 5x10, though.

Well, unless someone had our CAD design and a CnC, it would be tough, that's why we wanted to start selling these. Pre-finished white birch and domestic baltic birch isn't cheap lol, but we are proud of the hatch and I'm glad you feel it makes up those costs. And the kit fits a 5x8 trailer, not 5x10. However, we are looking at offering a 5x10 version in the near future. We're looking into maybe one for tailgaiting with more features in the hatch.

And the CAD systems are quite amazing, it allows whole new sectors of small business to spring up where before it wasn't possible; like us!

Anyway, it really is a cool idea. I guess a HF 4x8 could be adapted to fit this. I like the option to have the aluminum pre-cut.

To be honest, we get many people thinking that it fits a 5x10, instead of a 5x8, yet we've checked all of our social networks, and pages in our website, and it truly doesn't say 5x10 anywhere, haha. We can't figure out why this is a common occurrence.

And our kit can be very easily modified to fit a 4x8, as the HF model is pretty popular. We're working on an actual 4x8 kit as well so that way people don't have to modify.

I went to a friends house Saturday night for a little country camp-out. Her and her boyfriend have been wanting to build a teardrop ever since they saw mine, but he doesn't have a lot of free time to build it from scratch. So he was telling me that he ordered a kit, and sure enough it was one of yours. I think he said it will be getting here at the end of the month. Look forward to seeing it and helping him out a little bit.
