...there was a rod show in town this weekend and my friend was entering his "91 Chevy and asked if we wanted to show the Alligator Tear...we said surrrrrrrrrre...anyway, we gave out 150 business cards and I heard..."that's the cutest little thing I ever saw...what is it" about 1000 times...it was a big hit...there were near 200 entries and we took home a top 50, with the quality of iron on display we were very happy with that...below is a link to the pics I took....although there were everything from "T" buckets to a '05 GT40, you can see from the pics what kinda stuff caught my eye

Hey Jack...I'll bet that was a good time, and I'm sure you were pretty "jacked" up with all the attention....hopefully something good will come out of it...I was all set for a local show to break out the Rambler with the tear...whoopee...everyone wants to see a stock Rambler at a hot rod show!!! and hey...it's always the same iron so I would be fresh meat....anyway....weather and illness with the organizers cancelled it, oh well....maybe you'll get some action on the Alligator....Doug

MJ, Great series of pics. It appears to have been quite a large turnout. Congrats on achieving a top 50 result. Sort of makes the effort worth it doesn't it.

Cheers
Paul
PS Gage, How come your truck has that dinky little umbrella in back?

You mean they didn't give the Alligator Tear "Best in Class"???

It had to be the best in class, if it was the only one there!! :o :)

with almost 200 entries, it was the largest turnout they had ever had locally. The sponsoring club raised over 10,000 for the Shriner's and in all fairness it was my friends PU that got the award...I just hope our TD helped that effort

Jack, I don't see the hitch on the back of the Willy's. I guess that's why you liked the Chevelle. A mans gotta have a tow rig.

Madjack,

Sure hope you get some bites from all the cards you passed out.
Chris :D

The tension between what is good enough and what is beyond that creates the space for character to become our work.
