I want your life. Wheel bearings are about the least complicated thing in my life! :?   :applause:   :wine:

Cheers,

Gus

Everyone has struggles in their lives and I'm certain that you'll agree that it seems that some have more than they should ever have to deal with.
Lets just say that some of us don't want to have reason to deal with any added complications. ;)

Bearings may not be that difficult but they are a very important part of rolling down the highway. One slight bit of ignorance, wrong assumption, or misstep is all it takes to possibly cause a problem. I, for one, would like to try to be certain that I have all my "i's dotted and t's crossed".
I've already learned enough things the hard way. We won't go into detail, here. If I have an opportunity to learn from a master, I am grateful as I know this will make me more secure in my knowledge of the handling of a trailer. So, thanks, Randy and Debbie. :D

Gus, I said "more complicated than I thought..." not "the most complicated thing in my life" or even "more complicated than something else in my life."

We all have complications in our lives. Like many my age (66) I have health issues, I have financial issues, and I have family issues. I just choose not to whine about them here. There is little or nothing this group of people can do about my other issues, so I don't feel a need to share them.

I did choose to share my problems with wheel bearings for my antique trailer, and in doing so got an education, support, and the help of several people who know more about the subject than I.

I'm looking forward to continuing my education about wheel bearings at the DAM Gathering. I plan to continue my education about Coleman camping lanterns there also, and plan to combine it all with a lot of fun and companionship.

It was a light hearted "poke" not to be taken overly seriously. We all have "demons". Mostly of our own making. Mine, according to my brain and nerve surgeons, are all in my head.

Cheers,

Gus
The opinions in this post are my own. My comments are directed to those that might like an alternative approach to those already espoused. There is the right way,the wrong way,the USMC way, your way, my way, and the highway.

Maybe we can have Grant & Kay put "bearing school" on the Gathering Events list?
