For bending 1/4 and up most builder cut Kerfs in the back of the plywood. Cutting at least all the way through
the back and middle ply just leaving the outside play in tack.

Another option is use two sheets of 1/8 plywood on the curved sectioned and joined to the 1/4 to the flat top and the flat front.




Just a thought.

The little woody I have ( my Avator ) uses only 1/8 plywood for the top and front. 1/8 is ok for a skin, but it did take some hail damage last year.

Thanks junkboy for the info on that. I will need to check on doing that of course right where i need to do the kerf cuts is where i need to join the pieces. Option 2 might be better...

Actually just thinking the easiest way would be to just make multiple joins of the ply soo where the kerf is no spilicing will be if that makes sense lol. Soo first piece say 3' join it the next piece which will have the kerfs where it bends and then add the rear section on?

1/8 birch ply will bend very good. If you really need the Oak look you can get oak veneers and apply that to the birch ply.

Been cutting the interior cabinets out and redid the interior ceiling panel. I took my router and kerf cut the crap out of the 1/4" oak. Took forever. Now it will actually conform the bend. Hoping to get some stuff done this week. After breaking the ceiling i was pretty unmotivated.

I've been looking but no I haven't picked a set yet. Too many choices!!! I need help! Ahh f it lets get another bucket of beer and well figure it out some time! Lol the weather is getting nice and the beers are tasting too good to stress bout anything right now! I have a plan but I have to mount the axle with a set of temp. Springs so I can get a weight.
Have you ever tried reds apple ale? I've had about 5 of them tonight. Not to bad after you get the first one down they taste a little watery at first. But I did get my shop sweep up and cleaned a bit. So it was a good night.

Haha sounds like you had a great time ben lol. Havent tried the red apple yet. Been hooked on pranqster beer lately its a belgian. Funny how much more you end up drinkn when you have to clean the garage. Im looking at least 5-6 beer min for my garage right now.

Finally got some progress done for the trailer and a semi garage clean up!! I finished the interior cabinet face and the dividers for the cabinets. I ended up routing the outside of cabinet face except the very top. Doing the wall side might have been a mistake with the pocket hole jig. (might see the screws) Biggest progress was i finished gluing together the entire interior ceiling panel. Soo tuesday my next day off I need to assemble the interior cabinet and install it then pull the last ceiling spar and install it. Though I'll probally need to varnish it first.

Well made some progress today and came close to lighting it on fire and enjoying it burn to the ground.
interior cabinets installed needs a little trim work but not too bad.
Then i went to install the roof i spent 2-3 hours kurf cutting and building to bend nicely even tested it before putting it in, bent really nice went to install it and blew apart!!!!!!!!! Aaaaaahhhh motherf@$&$". Then the other half broke........ At this point i dont give a flying f. Lined up the crack flush and screwed it in. I will cover the ceiling in some heavy wall paper or some other crap....... Off to drink beer.
