new cargo conversion web site

Postby michiganflipper » Tue Mar 05, 2013 6:57 pm

I have been working on a new web site about building a cargo conversion. It should be up and running by this fall or sooner. It will be call Cargo Trailer Conversion and will show people what they can do to cargo trailer to convert them into camper. I hope to have conversions from all over the U.S.A.. So if you are interested in having your trailer on my web site to show it off please e-mail me at [email protected] and I will send you information on what I am looking for and pictures that i will need.

here is what I got started. I have a few cargo's but would love to have alot more. The way I look at it is the more trailers the better this site will help other people.

I seen the get together on the web site for June 9th I am sad that I will be out of the state that weekend going to hocking hills state park In Ohio. But we went to pj's last year it was really cool. That is the only area that there is a section that you can legally take your dog on the beach. It's not in the state park but not far from it. But I would be interested in other events if I do not already have plans

Let's see. Live now in Virginia. Went to college in East Lansing, MI. Never really went back. Going to get and build a CT soon. I think that all adds up to a must trip to Michigan with my new to be CT and my kayaks. What a adventure that could be. Guess that means you can count me in to watch and participate in your new forum also. (Spartan - Class of '67)

michiganflipper,
Nice site; I will be watching it. In the meanwhile, can you show or write more on your AC unit. I see the unit in the wall and the vent in the door. Do you run it that way (with the door closed) when you are at your site? Do you get enough air flow and exchange that way?

Also, what is the tent/sitting canopy shown in your pictures? Is it a special build or off the shelf item?
Thanks,

Bob,
The canopy looks like a Dometic Cabana. I have one on my CTC that I got off of ebay for about 1/5 of the R-Pod price. Here is a link to my write-up with more details. http://www.tnttt.com/viewtopic.php?f=42&t=51193&start=30#p967735

Michiganflipper- nice looking site. I wish you the best of luck.
