At this point, my wife actually prefers the "trailer obsession" over the "Chevelle obsession" that I had from '95 to '08 (when I quit racing, because of the economic crunch). I also had a thing for my '86 S-10, '69 C-10, '75 C-10,'04 2500HD, and my HHR during that same time span...so she is not jealous of the trailer. Besides, she still believes I am building it for her. To quote myself from a post awhile back
I've decided to name my minihopper/simple variant as HHRv=(Hairy Hominid Research Vehicle)! This is in line with what I stated my reasons for building in my first post

we have a HHR Panel and a Cobalt SE coupe, I want to build the companion trailer for them. My excuse to the wife is that I'm building it for her to use on her Crypto-zoological expeditions into the American bush (I won't allow her to use the 24 footer, purchased strictly for her business trips, for such frivolity).
This name fits both my transport and her ?hobby?, such as it is. Also,in the off-hand possibility that anyone here ever meets her, mum is the word...she doesn't admit to chasing B%$#@*T !
So she shouldn't be jealous of "her trailer". I'm just glad that the problem happened at home, to me, and not to her in the wild. I've solved the problem by cutting off the top of the rectangular stationary pieces, slightly bending them outward, and using them as a "drop bar" setup sorta like this. I'll finish it tomorrow (my metal cutting wheel needed replacement).

Poltergeists are real. I had a cat once who was infected with a Poltergeist. Or the cat was not real and just a Poltergeist. Either way having a Poltergeist around is scary.
