Here is a wiki with all standard bed widths. Full size bed is 54".

A true full-size bed is 54" wide. Queen size is 60" wide. Some campers install what they call a full sized bed; but, it may be only 41 to 44 ", not a true full-size.
If I remember correctly, a twin sized bed is 37" and a single bunk on a submarine is 22" wide. I wouldn't go any smaller than 22", per person, or 44" for two and you will probably want to go wider. Think of the possibility of an elbow in your side or back in the middle of the night.....

A standard full size bed is 75" long (6'3") that should be plenty for folks of your height.

Slow -

I'm 5'-9". My wife is about 5'-6". We have a full-size bed at home (54" x 75") and while there's not much wiggle room we fit okay. In our teardrop, we use a full size mattress but there is about 2' more in width and 3" more in length beyond the mattress. Our TD has way more room than we have at home.

For your height, the 75' will work but if you can extend 2"-3" further, you'll appreciate the extra length.

Take care,
Tom

I'm 5'9 I went with a 58 inch wide and 75 inch long mattress ( 4 inch memory foam). Its been just fine. I usually camp with my 7 year old ( and his dog). They take up most of the bed. Surprisingly, a set of full size sheets fits pretty well on the short mattress. Since you are 68 inches long, 75 inches gives you 7 inches for a pillow and to stretch a little. I wouldn't go below 72 inches.

And remember, you don't have to sleep straight up and down if you have a little extra width.

A Full XL is 80 inches long and you can buy sheets to fit. Its the same width as a regular full at 54".

Most "RV" mattresses are 74" long. I'm 5'11 and never felt cramped.

We were aiming for a Queen size (60"x8) when we designed Miss Piggy.
Came in at 58 1/2" x 78" but only 48" wide at our knees due to the wheel wells. Seems fine after first sleep!
Will let you know at the end of the summer!

Sorry, I was late answering. You probably got better answers from others than I ever could have given you. :)
