Last year I pinched a nerve in my neck and I can't get in and out of my teardrop anymore. Sadly, I need to sell.
This teardrop is 4 x 8. One door. Homemade and a perfect light weight entry level unit. It has a new a/c. The housing around the a/c lets it cool better in the hot Texas summer plus it makes it quieter. Since I have owned it I have insulated the inside top and bottom and added a layer of luan to the outside roof. The mattress is a memory foam twin size, maybe 3-4" - it was a topper in a box from walmart. Cozy for two. There is a storage area/shelf above your feet. Hatch area is open for easy storage and I have a board across the lower area for a work surface and the board that you see in front of the a/c actually works as a work surface/table at the hatch. It could be secured as a headboard in front of the a/c. There are still things that can be tinkered with but it is ready to go camping. I pull it with my Buick Lucerne. It takes a 1 7/8" ball and a 4-prong flat plug. There is a front dolly wheel at the hitch. I believe the trailer is a repurposed motorcycle trailer. If you are wanting to try teardropping without much expense, this is perfect! $1300 I would deliver up to 200 miles from Friendswood TX.
