Are vents interchangable?

I have a Cozy Cruiser which comes with a nice MaxxAir Vent. Unfortunately it's a little high especially when opened. I want roof racks so thinking of changing to something else more low profile..Maybe a fantastic fan or maybe just change out the lid. Any suggestions?

The openings tend to be the same size unless it is an escape hatch. MaxxAir and Fantastic Fan both have drawings on their web sites.

Thanks Shadow. I should have thought ahead and got the smaller fan in the first place as I knew I would want a roof rack in the long run.
