just wandering if the juice going though the brown wire on a trailer wiring harness is negative or brown. I know on a trailer
wiring harness the brown wire is hooked to your marker lights.

or is the brown wire positive juice?

just courus hooking up a truck for towing.

Contrary to popular belief the flow of electrons in brown wire (DC electrical system) is from the negative pole of battery THROUGH ALL ELECTRICAL CIRCUITS back to the positive pole of battery.... Its just the way it is... Its how the universe functions....

"Ground" or "juice" has nothing to do with it....

It's all about "electron flow" theory and "Ohms Law"......

do you hook into the tow vehicles taillight wires the ones that run the red lights on the back of the tow vehicle?

. . . where do you hook your brown wire do you tap into the tow vechiles tail lights wire or the wire that turns the tail lights on when the brakes or the head lights come on on your tow vehicle?

An easy old school connection for the brown wire splice is in the tailight bulb socket on the wire that controls the tailight function. If your truck has side marker lamps that come on when you turn on the lights – you can splice into that wire and use it as well - I've even seen em - spliced into the licence plate light wire!
