GPW,
When you cut the foam semicircles, if you cut it at an angle, you won't have to sand as much....

What you're describing sounds like how one builds an igloo.
And hey, when you're done you'll have a blanket of powdery 'snow' all around as well...

Yeah , an Igloo!!! ...or half of one :D The snow ... :frightened: That’s gonna’ be a mess eh ... :o As we learned from my first Foamie , will be doing the sanding /shaping out in the yard where the grass quickly grows over the snow ... It’s there forever , but becomes part of the earth ... again ...

Just guessing you could do this with little foam “blocks” , much like an Igloo ... that and some spray foam for glue ... Still messy ...

it is raining up here too, but we're trying to catch up on rainfall, so no harm done... just means less yard work gets done this weekend.

Oh well.. The plan of the day is to roll back the carpet ...again... and assemble the skeleton ... Inside the Studio ... No rain there , nice music to listen to , and a few "cold ones" left over from band practice last night ... I’ll take some pics as soon as it gets light ... which might take a while today ... :rainy:

Looks great!

Is that all glued and screwed, or is it just dry fit for now?

OK, here’s the glue up .... Glued with T3 and nailed with 1/1/4” brads shot in ... Very QUICK assembly ... All I need to do now is cut the filler pieces and glue/nail them in ...because I chose the cheaper 8’ wood and had to stagger the lengths ... VERY STRONG and Stiff , glue not even dried yet ... That was quick ...

Ps ,. Doesn’t really look any different than the other pic

All the filler strips cut and glued/nailed in ... The basic Skeleton is DONE !!! :P :woohoo: And now ... It’s Miller time !!!
Ps. measured once again ... it does fit out the garage door with 1.5” to spare ... 8)

Thanks WD !!... I CAN stand up in it ...if I don’t wear my hat ... ;)

Comfort for “Her Worship” is the Primary motivation .. Roughly 75 sq. ft. of floor space .... even enough room for little Django... :D
