(see what I mean) we want to be able to afford to tour with more weather protection than a tent. A driveway only 6'6" wide means a normal caravan is out. So I am thinking in terms of a New Cub or Widget6 with cooking inside (British weather). I have most of the skills needed after building a kit car with a wooden body and rebuilding 2 Landrovers. 1 a 58 series1 and the other a '72 ser3 Searl Carawagon camper that is too cramped for 2 fogies and a German shepherd. This would be our tug. My idea is to build my own chassis with 13" wheels and rubber suspension units most of which I already have. Well thats it for now.Cheers Dave

Junkboy, I'm more of a real ale fan, we have a local microbrewery here in Cheshire. called Weetwood. Very good for banishing gloom. There are also more 'real' cider makers coming along . 'Old English' was a Summer favourite of mine, it used to make the floor go soft like walking on a mattress, till you fell over.
