New not yet owner from Canada

Postby Joshdog » Tue May 21, 2013 10:07 pm

Greetings All.
I have been lurking for a year (or more). We were going to get a teardrop because I want an outside kitchen. Why would one want to be stuck inside cooking?
I have to say “were” because the 2 of us became 3.
I am asking for help in our search for something that is slightly larger for us.

What I would like is more in the realm of Tiny Travel Trailer…..
Sleeps 3 (or 4)
Uses Propane for the stove, and has a bit of a water tank (we camp regularly where there are no utilities).
Would love a queen bed and a spot for the little one…
It would be great if we had propane heat, as then we could extend our camping season considerably. We are in Calgary so our winters are fairly long and even in the summer the night temperature drops considerably.

Bedside’s the raindrop, what options do we have?
I think the T@B with the clamshell almost works, but….the bed is short. (the width is a double, but it is short length that is more the issue).

Why are outside kitchens so hard to find? (either the teardrop or those monstrosities…seem to be my choice).

Cheers!!

Click on the Hall of fame link at the very top and see if there is any camper that looks big enough. You can always just scale up a teardrop camper. The build journals are full of possible candidates for 3 + sleepers and galley in back.

This might be big enough
