Registering Homebuilt Trailer in Californai

Okay, I found (stumbled onto) this while trying to find answers...guess what, this appears to be an answer. Don't know who to give kudos too, but hey, to the writer of this paper.. :thumbsup:

But remember, you’re not registering a Home Built Utility Trailer. Your registering a Camp Trailer. Just about the same process. :thinking:

I have 3 California PTI trailers and they are called make: SPCN body type model: CMP no year or weight specified

tags are good for 5 years and renew thru the mail

Sounds too easy. If I understood reading, my Teardrop (built up HF Trailer) can be considered a Camp Trailer by the definition. Thanks.
