Did you cut the bows with a jig saw, or bandsaw?

I used a router, then clamped them together and used a belt sander to clean them up.

Looks great Fyddler.

My wife was also used to a 21 footer with all the mod cons. I don't think she is totally convinces that a small camper will be as enjoyable, but she won't know until she tries it.

I am just about to start building my 2 Person Standy. I just received an email to say my trailer has been freighted.

I will enjoy following your build, so I have subscribed and looking forward to your next update. Photo's or videos are great....keep them coming.

Been a while since I posted an update. I have the frame built for the hatch and roughing in the fenders. I like the way they are turning out. I temporarily installed one to see how it looks. Still need to route the edges.

Thanks! We plan on starting as soon as it is sealed... No galley (who needs a stinking galley). No dinette(that's what picnic tables are for) just my trailer and an air mattress is all I need!

Just picked up a set of 13" tires for my trailer. Craigslist find, $30.00. I'll have to revise my fenders, but between the look and a bit lower ride (had 14" wheels before) I think it's worth it.

My door will be the plywood that came out of the door cutout. Going to trim it in T-molding (hatch molding) apparently available at carpet stores. My hinges will probably be gate style and a cheap exterior house door knob. My windows were $5.00 garage sale find. I think they were out of a truck canopy. I love the shape!

Skinned the first side of my trailer. Turned out to be a bit trickier than anticipated. I'm using T2 diluted 25% with water and cotton muslin. I first hung the muslin and ironed it in place, taped at the top. I then put the muslin on top and rolled out a coat of the T2 mix. I dropped the Muslin down and started pressing it down from center out. It quickly became apparent that I should have first stretched the fabric I'm place before pressing it down. Had a heck of a time getting it flat. I then pulled it tight and stapled to the underside of the wall, hand pressed and smoothed down and rolled out another coat on top since it was not adhering well. It bubbled badly in several places so I back rolled a couple times as bubbles appeared. So far it's laying flat, we will see how it lays. Once it's dried I will trim allowing a 1" overlap on top over the seams and glue the edges down. I think the next side will be stretched and stapled in place before I put the second coat on. I'm glad I thinned the T2, I think it would have been to thick straight.
