Hello everyone. I've been lurking and ideas have been running wild since I found this site. There is definitely a wealth of information here and I'm looking forward to having access to those the resources once I finally decide to build a tear.

I tried taking my son (8 years old) tent camping last summer for the first time and based on that experience I don't know if I will ever get him into a tent again. That got me looking for alternatives and I found this forum. I've got a jeep wrangler so I'm thinking that this is the right place.

Input/suggestions/ideas welcome.

Welcome! I pull my Generic Benroy Teardrop with my Jeep Liberty. While the Liberty can pull more, the Wrangler would easily pull a Teardrop.

There are a few Jeepies that pull teardrops on the forums. Great things about teardrops is if you touch
the sides on the TD they don’t leak. I just remember Dad yelling at me and my brother to stop touching
the tent or it will leak. hahah
