Hey, Slow. We just got back from your end of the country (5867.5 mile round trip). I know what you mean about designing all those teardrops in your head. My mind keeps going over the things I could have done better in making my teardrop. The deer and the antelope truly do play out there, along with the elk and the bighorn sheep.
Happy trails,

I am constantly thinking of new ideas! But not just for tears, I always have more than one project going. My wife gets annoyed with the wondering of my mind, It's just ideas strike me at random moments. I have tried to write them all down when it happens but with all the writing I never got anything done.

Umm put your ideas to paper or "paper" (digital). Would love to see them.

Would any color seat work or does it have to be white?

I've found yellow and charcoal gray seats work fine. I have to think about other stuff or I'll fall asleep at the wheel. I strap a pad to my leg and take all sorts of notes during the day.

You sound as though you may have been a military pilot. Kudos.

Slowcowboy,

I know when I started considering what a teardrop would fit me, I decided I had to design my own. I did research. I looked at others. In the end, I bought an aluminum trailer and built on top of it with my own design. It can be seen at:

www.emmittsteardropadventures.net

From the beginning of the blog to about mid-December it is all about the trailer. Then, since it wasn't complete, I put it away for the winter and started posting bird photos. I'm back to working on the trailer now.

Folks ask, "When will it be done?" I reply, "When it's done." I am retired, I don't have a schedule. I do have an agenda. Big difference. I'm having fun building the teardrop, and I won't be rushed.\

Have a look!

Ankles kept me out of the military. They really really wanted to send me off to spook school.

Anyways, I added a pair of double sided Velcro straps to a planner. That keeps it on my leg when driving, and also shut when not in use.

The ideas come on green tractors too, they come when driving anything. Slow maybe you can get one of those pads and write down the important things. You sound so much like me I can't keep on task very well either. I am constantly writing down stuff and then loosing the pad. Oh well I know you have someone on the brain and heart!!! :R stay good!!

Sometimes I will make a rough sketch of an idea and scan it into my computer filed in a folder labeled drawings.
