What jigs did you make to support your build

I figure I will start with the door entry because most other parts have other things going on with them.

I realize for the entrance to the door to stay in place while I glue and screw it I will need triangular jigs to hold up the posts attaching to the floor supports and the upright.

I have seen pictures of triangular pc's holding up entire walls.

My plan it to put up the studs then the walls .... that is what I did on my first build and it worked ok.

But as we build these things other from 1,000 clamps we sometimes need a jig to help us do things that a clamp just can not do.

What are yours what did you come up with.

I wanted to put this in the poll area but realized this is where it would be read most.

Here are a few of the simple jigs I used on my weekender build:

simple way to square the trailer frame while bolting:


roof truss brace kept carriage bolt from turning while fastening plywood deck to trailer frame; I cut slots in the bolt heads with a Dremel tool and used this for the interior bolts that I couldn't reach with both hands. jig is held in place with a long 2X4 clamped to the edges of the trailer frame:


two of these held the 3/4 plywood walls at the bottom while screwing into bottom perimeter board; you have to place a small piece of wood inside the C-channel for the clamp to grip good:


this held my walls at the top while squaring them with the floor:


overall view of temporary wall supports; used for squaring walls and while installing spars:


simple block with notch holds spars on each end while installing fasteners:


2X4 and a couple of clamps hold door ring in place for marking cutout for door:


2X4's wedged from floor to ceiling at slight angle hold interior panels in place while screwing and gluing (I used screws around edges and covered with trim boards)
