Well, I got all of the corner trim on today; both sides and both ends! I also finished out the starboard side with a porch light: 107570 The port side also had a porch light installed. Additionally, I installed the roof vent and and hooked up the electricity to the roof vent fan! 107571 Tomorrow [weather permitting] I'm going to start on the storage on the cabin interior, and work toward getting the interior finished. 8)

Well, hooked up [It's campable now!] and took for a spin around the block. Stopped in front of the Topeka High Track for a photo shoot:
107661107662107663107664 8)
It's running a bit heavy [1200#]for the Cruiser's "official" weight limit [2205# w/trailer brakes /vs/1000# wo/trailer brakes], but there are lots of PTs around that pull 1400 & 1600 # on the Kansas flats with no problems, and it pulled just fine behind mine. The secrets are 1]no jerk starts, 2]avoid jerk stops, 3]do not lug the engine, 4]watch the tongue weight: keep it around 100-120 lbs, and 5] do not transport sumo wrestlers while pulling the trailer!

I installed a few additional things prior to my first camping foray next weekend: A towel ring on the port wall of the galley: 107922, a door restraint for windy days: 107923, installation of polyurethane coated marbleized tile flooring [just like in the galley!], and a large amount of stained and polyurethane coated interior trim. The water line running along the starboard cabin floor was chased with a combination of 1x2 and 1x4 boards: 107924 The front stereo mount and overhead storage bins were trimmed out in 1" appliqued trim from Sutherlands [No staining needed here!]: 107925 The rest of the cabin received the stained and polyurethane coated treatment carried out on 1x2s: 107926 And the ceiling vent opening got a combination of store bought and home spun trim pieces: 107927

I put the camper outside Saturday night during a downpour, and napped inside / ate a sandwich / watched a Netflix movie [Home WiFi to my Nextbook tablet] and experienced ZERO water leaks! Hope the integrity of the seals stays up to par! Oh well, got to run, but will post pix of the first campout next weekend! 8)

A few added touches in the last day or two: Curtains on both windows: 108065108066

A clothing hook on the rear bulkhead: 108067108068

And another coat of polyurethane for the front stereo mount and storage bins: 108069

Can't wait to try it out soon at a camp out! 8)

Wow! Thanks Tom and Linda! A complement coming from you guys really makes my day, and the whole effort worthwhile! Though I don't have anything like your skills, I really put my heart into it, and it is really great to hear kind words from master craftsmen [craftspersons?] such as yourselves! :)

Well here are some pix of the first camp out with the DSB! All systems worked well, and no leaks from the rain that fell Friday night!
