Got all the kerfing done , the foam panels are like rubber now ... :o Started attaching the first panel .... used Great Stuff , because it will dry quick ... Once that’s dry I can bend the panel around the front , and glue it on ... then add the second panel on top ... :D Already HOT , my eyeballs are sweating ...

Ps. and a follow up on those screws ...

That nose sure adds a lot of extra floor space .... 14.3 sq.ft ... That’s about half the total (@ 28 sq. ft )floor space in the #1 foamie ... :o

Thanks Ned !!!

Here’s the first “ring”... the plan is 10” wide rings glued atop one another ...overlapping 5” on the previous...till we reach the top ...

Ps. got my 18oz.canvas ordered ... 20yds ... that should be enough , with a little left over to paint on ... :D 8)

I found the same thing with mine - the portapotti's going there and, once it was closed in, I was surprised at how much room there was. Not palatial by any means, but....

The last drawing I saw of FS still showed shelves there. Now that you're seeing it for real, are you thinking at all about making the nose part of the living space ?

It's great to see it coming together
Despite the sweaty eyeballs

W2 , still undecided about the shelf , but it would be nice and divide up the space for nose storage , and a BIG FLAT SCREEN TV .... :o 8)      Maybe ?
I could put a big round bed in the nose ... too kinky eh ? :NC

Thinking about finishing the interior of the nose , and maybe everything else .... with gray chip board ... strong , glues well, hides all those kerfs, and takes paint nicely ... Thrifty too ... an inner “skin” ...

Great Stuff sure sticks well to skin eh ... pulling little bits off the hairs on my arm ... ouch ... ouch ...

WG, I’m thinking it’s going to be pretty light , for it’s size... The foam’s not heavy , the ply ribs weren’t heavy , the OSB floor .... well , That’s HEAVY !!! :o And the trailer which is built pretty stout ... At least the weight’s down low ... that and the “ballast” ...
I’m guesstimating in the neighborhood of 1000# ... close as I can figure ...

Here’s a remarkable thing , I drove up the street into town to get some things .... got caught in a heavy Rain ... On the way back , crossing the bridge to my house , I drove through a rainbow .. :o First time in my 65 years that ever happened ... just for a nanosecond there were rainbow colors in my truck ... 8) ... and no , I wasn’t

I take that to be a GOOD sign !!! :D And it’s Still raining ...
