Got My 228E, Jul-59, in friday, really clean but someone painted their initials on it in two places. Looks like fingernail polish, hopefully it will come off. Put on two new mantels and a little bit of fuel and she fired up nicely.
Saturday I got the 228C, B-46, and my Frankenstein. Turns out Frank is a 228B Jan-40. The 228C loses pressure quickly, so it will have to be rebuilt. The 228B value is frozen, and the tank rattles like a one arm 73 year old maracas player. It is going to be rebuild but not cleaned or polished at all. I going to keep this one a true beater. I need a wooden handle and a coffee can to fix up the homemade reflector setup.
Here is the 228C and Frank. ( sorry again only have a cheap V-cam for pictures)

Here is 228E and a few other in a little Mini light up. Only ones that had fuel in them this week. Left to right
