hello from central PA .... harrisburg area

hello everyone , long time lurker finally going ot take this plunge into making a tear ...... me and my wife love to travel and camp , we actually have a 36ft class A pusher motorhome but im the only one who drives so we are wanting to make something smaller for the long but short trips , several yrs ago we used a converstion van to go on a 2 week trip out west , into yellostone , moab , and lower colorado . camped in parking lots and where ever our bodys just had enough for the day we had a ton of fun and want to do the trip again but dont have access to the van , but we do have a tahoe . sooo we are going to make a tear and do the trip again . would love to take the motorhome , but atleast with the tahoe and tear both of us could drive and make it an easier trip for both of us .

sooo , in the next few weeks ill be making a build log , thinking of making a small 5x10 tear with AC , propane water heater , propane stove , etc i own a metal fab shop so i plain on making the frame from steel , skinning it with FRP . should be a nice build . cant wait .
