Hi everyone. I'm Beverly and I'm in the Florida panhandle. Just bought myself a custom micro-camper that I've only had a week and have yet to test it out. Doh! I'm itching to get out there though!

Anyway, hopefully I'm able to post a pic of the little bugger.

It doesn't open in the back, but I've got a door on each side which I feel like gives me more flexibility if I have to park in a tight spot.

I've been scoping out the ladies forum and paying special attention to the camping alone/security thread. I wind up camping by myself more often than I'd like, but I don't let that stop me. I've done some shopping for the camper, but I haven't started decorating yet. Got a camper cover yesterday (medium-SUV cover) to help protect it from the sun when it's hanging out in the driveway. Bought some little floor mats, reading lights, and assortment of lightweight kitchenware. I wish there was a standard shopping list for little campers; I know I'm going to forget something.

Congratulations on your purchase and welcome to the land of teardrops. It is a welcome and wonderful place full of new friends and great adventures. I purchased mine in 12/09 and have had the best time since then. I have met great people that will be friends forever. I just returned from a week in the mountains of western NC. That will be my last trip until September (I have no A/C) and another in October on the books. Please PM me if you would like to talk further. I went down to the tax collector's office today and got tags for Teeter-Tot. Now she's street legal. I'm going to try and take her out next weekend if the campgrounds aren't already booked.

How much is a camper like this cost?
