Looking good. When you use that wheel thingy tape the shop vac to your arm, or something. Won't catch all, or even 50% but might help a little. You might have to do like the really good internal combustion motor makers do ( and other such cast iron cases holding delicate machinery ) Paint the inside to keep the sand from the sand casting process from getting lose.

Mary , the only reason I’m getting anything done is , it’s All I’ve been doing lately .. That and posting here... Would have gotten a lot more done if I’d had any sense and started during the cooler weather  ... Just too HOT now to work the long hours outside .. getting done what I can ...

Randy , that’s a great idea !!!... as is, the tool works Super for this job , just incredibly messy :frightened: ... the old shop vac on the arm thingie' should really help , and a mask , and face shield ... apron , long sleeves , hat, gloves ... The wife said I should put the fan in there ... :o :R Then the foam dust would be EVERYWHERE ...

Yes, the cabin is going to need a really Good vacuuming before we can start finishing the inside ... maybe two or three times .. :NC

Got the rear door frame essentials mocked in ... Giving me a door 24” wide and 66” tall ... Yes, I will have to duck to enter ... :o

The outer foam you see protruding out over the last rib will be trimmed flush with the rib and a foam “cap” will go over that all the way to the outer edges ... that’s the plan anyway...

Doublers , door frame added , floor blocks made ... Coincidentally the door frame sticks out beyond the rib edge by exactly 2” ... Imagine that ??? :o

Now to glue and screw everything together .. :D

You need to relocate to drought stricken Texas during your build. Lots of build time available here

GPW,

Why don't you build a curved top doorway, all the way to the bottom of the rib? Then no ducking.
