Looking good. When you use that wheel thingy tape the shop vac to your arm, or something. Won't catch all, or even 50% but might help a little. You might have to do like the really good internal combustion motor makers do ( and other such cast iron cases holding delicate machinery ) Paint the inside to keep the sand from the sand casting process from getting lose.

Mary , the only reason I’m getting anything done is , it’s All I’ve been doing lately .. That and posting here... Would have gotten a lot more done if I’d had any sense and started during the cooler weather ... Just too HOT now to work the long hours outside .. getting done what I can ...

Randy , that’s a great idea !!!... as is, the tool works Super for this job , just incredibly messy ... the old shop vac on the arm thingie' should really help , and a mask , and face shield ... apron , long sleeves , hat, gloves ... The wife said I should put the fan in there ... Then the foam dust would be EVERYWHERE ...

Yes, the cabin is going to need a really Good vacuuming before we can start finishing the inside ... maybe two or three times ..

Got the rear door frame essentials mocked in ... Giving me a door 24” wide and 66” tall ... Yes, I will have to duck to enter ...

The outer foam you see protruding out over the last rib will be trimmed flush with the rib and a foam “cap” will go over that all the way to the outer edges ... that’s the plan anyway...

Doublers , door frame added , floor blocks made ... Coincidentally the door frame sticks out beyond the rib edge by exactly 2” ... Imagine that ???

Now to glue and screw everything together ..

Steve, we’re just in the normal rainy season , a little rain every day ... We lived in Texas for a few years .... not like here .... when it rained it rained BIG ... just like everything else in Texas... Yaa' Hoo !!!

Why don't you build a curved top doorway, all the way to the bottom of the rib? Then no ducking.
