How do I attach the floor of my TD to my trailer?

The HF frames are not what you'd call an exact precision fit at all the joints. They can get out of shape a bit as they're bolted together. You might be able to loosen all the bolts and get it trued up a bit, then re-tighten everything in a torque pattern (opposing corners in gradual steps). Good luck, I'm sure you'll find a fix for it.

And you were right. The trailer frame was crooked!!!!!

I forgot to put the flash sealant bt the floor and the trailer frame before screwing it down. I hope that's not a problem!

You still have to drill the holes for the bolt heads for the floor to fit flush on the side rails. The shims only go over the cross pieces.

I didn't see any discussion of this before so I shimmed all of it to the level of the side bolts using 2 different thicknesses. It was fairly easily done.

OK, here is what I did. Cut a pencil down to about 2" long and sharpen one end. Clamp your floor in place and use the pencil to mark the holes. Then flip the floor over and drill the holes. Use a drill bit slightly larger than the bolts to give yourself some wiggle room.
