Home made stringed instruments. I made a 5 string banjo out of an old oil can a few weeks ago. 8)

Not only that, but the white whiskers too. I looked at the group pic from the last LCG and wondered who the old guy with the white beard was...... then realized... oh, that's me. :lol:

Wow, oh wow! That's one gorgeous banjo!! Just look at that fretted neck and that perfect oil can, very impressive. I've seen lotza banjos on CigarBoxNation.com and other hand-made instrument forums and... honestly, that's the sharpest one by a country mile. :thumbsup:

My hat's off to ya for being able to pick 'dem five strings. That takes lotza practice and talent.

awsum canjo. I can't tell you how many guitars I have built for myself, then sold. But I am really enjoying the simple CBG type now. A few pics.
