Found some neat old original trailer badges.

Postby TRP » Sun Jun 23, 2013 11:01 am

I saw an older Kelly trailer on the side of the road today. It was pretty rough, so I stopped and left a note on it.

The owner called back and said he was going to scrap it so I offered to purchase a few items off of it. I also encouraged him to save the windows and to sell them online.

They came off of a pretty rough Terry stand up. I have never seen these badges before and I thought they were pretty neat. They may not be period correct for my Benroy, but funky just the same.

Paid $10.00 each. I figure they would look neat somewhere on my trailer. I'm not sure I'll mount them on the exterior. Maybe I'll put them on the side wall of the galley area as a conversation piece. *shrug*

Anyone know anything about these badges?

Thanks
Ted

So, with 90+ views and not one comment, I'm guessing nobody knows much about 'em.

I just think they would be cool / fun on the rebuild. Maybe I'll put 'em in the galley area on the wall or something. *shrug* we'll see.

Ted,

The first one, depending on cleaned up condition is worth $5-$30
The second, again condition dependant, is $10-$40
The last one, not much.
E bay prices go up and down depending on who is shopping at the time and just has to have it.

They are cool, and look good on a vintage trailer...or a wall.
