It really depends on how you want to enlarge it. Do you want it longer, wider, taller? Do you want to keep the same profile look, but bigger? What are you trying to fit inside the trailer? Are you trying to fit a certian premade trailer size?

Probably the easiest way to draw something up is to get some grid paper, mark out the outside dimensions of the overall size of trailer you want. Then lightly draw the profile on the paper. Adjust the profile to what looks good to you. Once you have a profile you can then see if everything will fit inside of the profile that you want in the trailer.

Thanks danlott. I should have given more info. Want to keep the profile the same but make it 78" tall then stretch the length till it looked right. And really hope not to be over than 12' in length.

Guday Kim, If you can email me a three view of the widget I can extend it for you to the size and shape you desire. All I need are the basic dimensions of the final size and shape.

If the height was stretched to 78" the length would be 11' 3 11/16". This would maintain the same profile look, only larger. I have the profile in SketchUp and it is fairly easy to scale to any size.

Here is a picture of the enlarged Widgets with a 2 inch grid overlay. It is a larger picture so you can see the grid and be able to use it to layout a profile if needed.

You need to save the picture to your computer. Then open the picture from your computer. Then depending on the program that it opens in you will need to set the printing preferences to Landscape mode and have the picture fit the paper size. This varies slightly with the different programs that can be used to open the file.

Got it! Thanks Danlott. I've never had to do that. Most of the time I just click on print and it does it. Thanks for your help.

Now another ? On something like this, would it be better using a torsion axle or a dropped axle with springs? Or just a straight axle? :?

I believe a torsion axle would be the best and easiest to use if you are building your own frame.
